  new position
I will be moving soon to the University of Lille in France, to continue my research as an assistant professor in the group FOX-MIIRE located in the LIFL lab.

I am a postdoctoral researcher since December 2005 in the Multimedia Information Research Division of the National Institute of Informatics, working with Prof. Shin'ichi Satoh. I have been awarded a JSPS Postdoctoral fellowship for 2 years.

I'm currently interested in inter-modal analysis of multimedia documents in large databases, image and video processing, indexing and retrieval, data mining, knowledge representation, and information retrieval models.
